Roseville, MN – August 23, 2019. Asmodee USA Distribution is bringing Palm Court’snew mind-bending party game, Wavelength, to the United States. In Wavelength, two groups compete in telepathic feats of awesome as they read each other’s minds.
A team’s Psychic gives a clue based on a spectrum between two concepts that helps guide their friends to a hidden target. Concepts include “Fantasy – Sci-Fi” or “Cat person – Dog person” and more. The closer to the center of the target, the more points the team wins. Before the reveal, the other team uses their telepathic powers to determine howclose they think the active team is to the correct prediction. Knowing how their friends think – and using their latent mental powers – is key to success.
Alex Hague, Co-Founder of Palm Court, said, “We’re thrilled to be working with Asmodee USA to get Wavelength into the hands of every last weirdo on Earth, who, like us, will hopefully love this game to pieces.”
“Loving Wavelength isn’t difficult,” said Andre Kieren, Head of Distribution for Asmodee USA. “After experiencing the excitement of the game, we wanted to make sure we helped get it to everyone’s tables. Whether you’re a mind-reader or one in training, Wavelength is pure magic.”
Wavelength, from the creators of Moniker and The Mind, is co-designed by Wolfgang Warsch, Alex Hague, and Justin Vickers. Hvass&Hannibal was responsible for graphic design and art. Everyone will experience the magic, laughter, high-fives, and jump-out-ofyour- chair celebrations of Wavelength in Q4 2019.
